Europe adventures

If we were meant to stay in one place, we’d have roots instead of feet, he said. – Rachel Wolchin

Cinque Terre, Italy

Cinque Terre is a collection of five villages that sit on the coast of Italy. They are centuries old, with cobblestone roads & beautiful churches. My family and I stayed in a home away while there in a really old house with a balcony looking out to the water. The home was around $100 a night for 5 people which is an amazing price considering its location! I HIGHLY recommend hiking to the other villages. There are pathways connecting all 5, and they all have their own vibe that makes them so unique! You can take the train back for about $8 but I personally think the hike was incredible. This trip was part of a longer stay in Europe…I will post about some of the other places I stayed soon!

Nice, France

France has so much to offer all of its travelers and a very popular destination is Nice, France. It is located on the Mediterranean Sea in a unique and vibrant city with tons of culture and exciting adventures to go on. While saying all this it is an expensive city so you need to be smart as you visit. I stayed at an air bnbwhile I was there which is what I definitely recommend. It is popular there so prices are low and you will find the best locations. I stayed in Old Town which has an open street where there is no access for cars and you can roam the street looking into different stores, there is also a great farmers market that was fantastic! I also recommend renting bikes for around $10 to travel up and down Promenade des Anglais which is a street right on the water. You can stop along the way to sit on the beach or for lunch at small cafes.
